Govt increases the Strength of CSSS officers in Ministry of Health and Family Welfare
DOPT has increased the working strength of CSSS (Central Secretariat Stenographers’ Service) in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

I qualified Grade”D Examinnation 1981 and posted as Gr.D stenographer in the Ministry of Finance. Consequent upon after 13 years of years in August, 1985 I was prooted as Grade ;C’ stenographer on ad hoc basis. I was promoted as a regular Grade C stenographer in 2001 and given sl. No. 499 in the select list of 2001. since I have completed 30 years of service I am being entitled for 3rd MACP as per the recommendations of the 6th Central Pay Commission. it is heartening to note that after completion of 30 years of service I have not been given an ad hoc promotion of Grade B while others who are junior to me in service and grade the SC/St employees have been promoted. Would anybody clarifyed when I will become eligible for my next promotion as Gr.B regular/adhock basis. DoP&T has been requested to clarify this point?
