CTET Examination 2015 – Examination on 22.2.2015
CTET Examination 2015 – Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education is in progress. The last date for applying is 10.1.2015. Candidates can also check their status and particulars of fees received.
Candidates who have applied for the CTET and accepted by the Board can download their Admit Card from 2nd February 2015.
CTET examination will be held on 22nd February 2015. There will be two papers. Paper II will be conducted from 9.30 to 12 hrs and paper I will be conducted from 1400 to 16.30 hrs.
CTET announces that if the candidates name is not available in the final list on CTET website www.ctet.nic.in wheras the candidates has submitted the application in full and paid the requisite application fee should approach the
Assistant Secretary, CTET Unit, CBSE between 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. from 16.01.2015 to 23.01.2015
The candidates have to submit proof of payment of fees either through Bank Challan or through Credit/Debit Card for considering his/her candidature for CTET- FEB 2015 examination.
Candidates may note that inn accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of Section 23 of the RTE Act, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) had vide Notification dated 23rd August, 2010 and 29th July, 2011 laid down the minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in classes I to VIII. It had been inter alia provided that one of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any of the schools referred to in clause (n) of section 2 of the RTE Act is that he/she should pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which will be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE.
The Validity Period of CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years from the date of declaration of its result for all categories.
