JEE MAIN 2018 APPLICATION FORMS CORRECTION PROCESS : Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has begun the data correction process for applicants who have applied for the JEE Main 2018 exam to be held in April. The link for data correction will be available from January 9 to January 22, 2018. Candidates who have entered any particular wrong or incomplete or flawed can login now and correct the same. Candidates can also correct any discrepancy in the uploaded image. Application forms with unclear images or images which do not follow the prescribed format will be summarily rejected.

The candidates must keep in mind to make the corrections by January 22, as any request of correction after January 22 will not be entertained. Candidates would be required to pay an additional fee for the corrections. The additional fee can be paid by the candidates either through credit/debit card/Ewallet (SBI buddy/Paytm) or through e-challan generated during the online correction by cash in the Syndicate/Canara/ICICI Bank between January 9 and January 23, 2018.

Candidates will not be allowed to change the mode of examination computer based examination to pen and paper based examination.

Since the correction facility is only one time facility, candidates should make the corrections very carefully and follow all the rules so as to avoid rejection of their application.

Candidates are strongly advised to check the spellings of their name, their parent’s name and cross check the same with the Aadhaar card details submitted. Any discrepancy in the names can cause cancellation of candidature. Candidates can also access the possibility of changing their examination centre. The facility is now open and would close on January 22, 2018, on jeemain.nic.in.

JEE Main: Learn from the Mock Test Computer Based Examination

Students decreased in JEE Main : 51 thousand students will sit less than in 2018 compared to 2017 in JEE Main In the year 2017, 11.99 lakh students were in the examination, but in the year 2018, 11.48 lakh students will be in the examination.

 The number of computer-based people increased: 2.25 lakh students applied for computer-based examination in 2018. This number is 45 thousand more than the year 2017. In the year 2018, only 9.25 lakh students will take the examination in the paper-pen format. This number is less than one lakh less than the year 2017.

Students can practice tests online: JEE Men’s Computer Based Examination Students who attend the JEE Main website can participate at any time in the Mock Test. This allows students to experience computer based exams.

Examination will be done on April 08 : JEE-MAIN will be through April 08, 2018 through paper-pen. Computer-based examination will be held on April 15 and 16.
