Grant of dearness allowance to the state government employees and further ad-hoc increase in the wages of daily rated workers under the Government with effect from January 01, 2017.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday announced 10 per cent hike in dearness allowance of state government employees from next month.
A notification issued by the state Finance Department said the whole time state government employees drawing upto 80,000 salary would draw Dearness Allowances at the rate of 75 per cent with effect from January 1, 2016.
West Bengal State Government has issued orders for allowing its employees to travel specific foreign Countries by availing Leave Travel Concession.
