The ongoing indefinite strike by the government employees and officials across the State has seriously affected the ‘services’ being extended by the government departments to the public on Thursday also.
More than three lakh state government employees in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday launched an indefinite strike to press for their various demands. The strike affected functioning of many departments.
In a statement, the Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa said, ”Totally, Rs 326.85 crore will be spent on distributing bonus for government employees and others.”
